CroMAR was selected among the 5 best mobile Apps in its category (business Intelligence and other innovative App) in the Mobile App Awards at SMAU. SMAU is the largest ICT expo in Italy.
CroMAR is a system running on iPAD2 that aims at promoting reflection on crowd management, for example during large events or emergencies, using Mobile Augmented Reality. For more information have a look at the CroMAR page.
Different EU projects have met in Second Life. The meeting has been hosted in the NTNU island as part of the TARGET/Cocreat Summer School. Dr. Chiara Rossitto, from the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences - Stockholm University, has visited our group and she had an interesting lecture on ethnographic informed design for the PhD course on Cooperation Technology. The visit was funded by the LEAF network (http://nordicleaf.info/)
